Service Description
Interest:Video Game Creation (Age 10-17) Our Video Game Creation sessions use digital tools, design choices and collaborative problem-solving as an interest-based platform for creativity, communication, emotional pacing and flexible thinking. Participants explore story design, character creation, logic sequencing, visual choices and interactive play within a predictable, identity-safe environment. This experience focuses on: - communication through shared design decisions - creative expression and identity development - emotional pacing and regulation supported by structured creation tools - flexible thinking and adaptive problem-solving - visual planning, sequencing and step-by-step logic confidence in expressing ideas and collaborating at one’s own pace All participation is interest-led, identity-affirming and non-compliance-based, tailored to sensory needs, communication preferences and engagement styles. These sessions can be accessed using NDIS funding under: - 0106 – Life Stage, Transition & Planning Supports - 0117 – Development of Daily Living & Life Skills - 0125 – Community & Social Participation - 0128 – Therapeutic Supports (facilitated by an appropriately qualified practitioner) We match each participant to the suitable registration group based on their goals and NDIS plan.
