What We Offer:

Neurodivergent Empowered delivers individualised supports for autistic and neurodivergent people across five NDIS registration codes.

Most supports are delivered through interest-based participation in regulation-safe environments. Capacity Building Coaching is the only support we deliver that is not activity- or interest-led.

Where therapeutic supports are delivered under 0128, they occur within practitioner scope and relevant clinical governance.

Interest-Based Participation Supports

Participation, regulation, and connection through shared interests - delivered inside The Nest, a regulation-first environment.

These are structured supports, not recreational activities, where capacity builds through genuine engagement and interest-led participation. Supports are individualised to each participant's goals, even when delivered within shared environments.

Examples of interest-based participation supports include:

  • Nesting Sessions (all ages)

  • Minecraft, Anime, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering

  • YouTuber Creation, Music Connections, Movement Adventure

  • Dungeons & Dragons and tabletop RPGs

  • Early Childhood Nesting (ages 6–9)

Interest-based participation supports are delivered across 0106, 0117, 0118, 0125, and 0128 depending on participant goals, age, and approved plan.

The Nest also provides the implementation environment for allied health collaboration, where AHP-delegated supports are delivered within the same regulation-safe infrastructure.

Capacity Building Coaching

1:1 support for planning, sense-making, system navigation, pacing, and coordination. This is the only support we deliver that is not activity- or interest-led.

This includes:

  • Life stage transitions and planning

  • School, workplace, or system navigation

  • Managing fluctuation and sustainable pacing

  • Supported decision-making and participant authority

  • Family and carer involvement (with consent)

This approach draws on the principles of NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coaching. We use the term Capacity Building Coaching deliberately, as it more accurately reflects how this support is experienced by many autistic people.

Who This Is For

We work with:

  • Autistic children (6–8), children (9–12), teens (13–17), and adults

  • PDA profiles

  • ADHD and blended neurodivergent profiles

  • People experiencing shutdowns, burnout, or school/workplace distress

  • Individuals seeking identity-affirming, non-compliance-based supports

A formal diagnosis is not required for privately funded participation.

NDIS-funded participation is available where a participant has an approved NDIS plan and the support aligns with their funded goals and registration categories.

1

How fluctuation is handled:

Supports may be delivered in different ways and at different intensities depending on goals, needs, and context. Some supports are time-limited and goal-focused; others may be ongoing where they support regulation, connection, and sustainable participation across life stages.

The type, intensity, and duration of supports are regularly reviewed and adjusted in collaboration with participants and families to ensure they remain appropriate and aligned with funded goals.

Fluctuation is expected. Recalibration is not failure.

2

Families and carers:

With consent, supports can include family members, carers, and informal supports. We work to understand preferences about when and how to involve them, and can support navigation of any tensions that arise.

Parent and family capacity-building supports are available for children and teens, delivered in line with relevant NDIS registration codes. These are interest-based, identity-affirming, and trauma-aware, focused on supporting participation, regulation, and everyday functioning. Delivery may include digital and non-face-to-face formats where appropriate and aligned with participant plans.

3

Your Authority:

You remain the authority on your own life. This support operates from supported decision-making and dignity of risk.

Your right to make choices, including choices others might disagree with, is respected.

Your values, preferences, and goals lead. We support direction, not determine it. Decision-making authority remains with the participant.

NDIS Registration Codes

Supports may be accessed through private funding or, where aligned with an approved NDIS plan, under the following registration categories:

0118 – Early Intervention (ages 6–9)

Developmentally appropriate, interest-based supports focused on participation, engagement, and everyday functioning in natural environments.

0128 – Therapeutic Supports

Therapeutic supports and capacity-building supports delivered in line with participant goals. The specific nature of the support depends on the service delivered and the practitioner’s scope.

0117 – Development of Daily Living and Life Skills

Development of Daily Living and Life Skills Supports focused on executive functioning, adaptive skills, independent living, confidence, and practical daily routines.

0125 – Community and Social Participation

Community and Social Participation Supports for participating in community, social, and recreational activities with the assistance needed to do so.

0106 – Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions and Supports

Capacity-building supports for transitions, role changes, planning, school or workplace participation, and sustainable routines across life stages.

Interest-based participation supports may be delivered under any of these codes depending on purpose and scope. Capacity Building Coaching is funded under the Psychosocial Recovery Coach item. Supports are selected and delivered in alignment with participant goals, age, needs, and approved NDIS plan. Billing depends on the purpose of the support, practitioner scope, and approved plan.

Private funding options are also available.

How supports are delivered

All supports are delivered within environments where masking is not expected.

Regulation comes first.

Supports are structured around:

  • Sensory and emotional regulation

  • Communication and social connection

  • Executive functioning and flexible thinking

  • Identity, autonomy, and confidence

  • Skills for home, school, community, work, and relationships – practised within everyday routines, interest-led settings, and community contexts

  • Real-world participation and functional capacity, at each participant's pace

How To Access This Support

If you have NDIS funding in relevant categories and want to explore whether this approach suits your needs, you're welcome to contact us for an initial conversation.

Delivery and billing are determined by the purpose of the support and must align with the participant's approved NDIS plan and NDIS Pricing Arrangements.

Private funding options are also available where appropriate.
