Catherine Behringer
Community Impact and Partnerships Coordinator / Early Intervention Practitioner
I’m Cat, a psychology graduate with a four-year accredited degree, including my Honours thesis. I bring a deep understanding of neurodivergent identity, strengths, and support needs to my role as Community Impact and Referral Partnerships Coordinator at Neurodivergent Empowered.

My work focuses on building strong, affirming relationships with therapists, healthcare professionals, educators, and community organisers.
I’m committed to making sure neurodivergent individuals are connected with services that truly honour their unique brains and bodies.
I’m passionate about creating collaborative pathways that empower our clients and enrich our wider networks—always guided by shared values, inclusion, and a neurodivergent-affirming approach.
Things I am currently passionate about / current interests

Dance
I am a passionate dancer that loves to perform! I found dance later in life and with it a community of women who support and empower each other!

Art and craft
In my free time I also enjoy art and craft pursuits (I am hoping to learn how to knit this year!)

Nature and Connection
I also enjoy nature walks and beach swims, reformer pilates and spending time with friends, sharing a meal, talking, laughing & connecting!
Why I am about passionate about the work I do for Neurodivergent Empowered:
I know what it feels like to be left out, to feel like you try so hard but for reasons unknown to you it never seems to be enough!

Different does not mean less! The neurodivergent community often faces challenges that others cannot understand. In my work, it is my goal to help people feel seen, heard and understood for who they are! To help them to see their own unique strengths and to provide understanding for their struggles.

I want to guide individuals to advocate and care for themselves. To show people how to not only function but flourish in a world that sometimes feels like it wasn’t made for us!
Current Sessions I am one of the Facilitator's for:
