Interest: Dungeons & Dragons (11 - 17)
A structured, interest-based experience for connection, communication and flexible thinking.
Service Description
Ages: 11 - 17 Our Dungeons & Dragons sessions use collaborative storytelling and imaginative role-play as an interest-based platform for building connection, communication, emotional pacing and shared problem-solving. This experience focuses on: - communication in a low-pressure, flexible format - emotional and sensory regulation supported through pacing - collaborative decision-making and shared attention - planning, sequencing and adaptive thinking - identity expression, creativity and confidence - developing capacity for connection and co-regulation All participation is interest-led, autonomy-supportive and non-compliance-based, with support tailored to different communication styles, sensory profiles and engagement preferences. This interest topic can be accessed using NDIS funding under: - 0106 – Life Stage, Transition & Planning Supports - 0117 – Development of Daily Living & Life Skills - 0125 – Community & Social Participation - 0128 – Therapeutic Supports (when delivered by appropriately qualified practitioners) We match each participant to the correct registration group based on their goals and NDIS plan.
